For the second year, G&A Institute examined corporate sustainability and responsibility reporting trends among U.S.-domiciled companies to explore a key question: does publishing a sustainability report actually make a difference for corporate performance, reputation, and recognition?

Financial performance — The research explored whether reporting companies demonstrate stronger long-term capital market performance and share price advantages.
Equity index inclusion — Analysis considered whether reporters are more likely to be included in major sustainability indexes such as the DJSI and NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index.
